Dr. Tapscott is the founder and senior pastor of Faith Christian Church and International Outreach Center - a fast-growing, multicultural church with ministries that impact the city of Warrenton, VA, and the nations around the world. He is a frequent conference speaker in the US and abroad.

In addition to ministry advancement, Dr. Tapscott has labored on various Virginia state & local boards. He is a past governor's appointee to the State Board of Correctional Education. He is also a former member of the Lord Fairfax Community College Board of Education, a former member of the Fauquier County School Board Task Force, and a former board member of Hospice of the Rapidan. Currently, he can be found involved in numerous organizations and ministries both locally and globally.

Being very missions oriented, Dr. Tapscott has planted churches across America and abroad. He is the founder and presiding overseer of The Fellowship of Prophetic Churches and Ministries (FPCM). FPCM is an Apostolic equipping and sending ministry that provides mentoring to churches and ministries. He is a spiritual father to pastors and ministers in the United States and abroad. Functioning in the prophetic office; Dr. Tapscott is a mentor to men and women in their development as five-fold ministry leaders and helps them cultivate a vision for their respective ministries.

Dr. Tapscott is a Doctorate of Ministry graduate at Logos University & Seminary, located in Jacksonville, Florida. He appears on various cable television stations with his weekly ministry broadcast, "The Word of Faith." Some networks have included; The Inspiration Network, The WORD Network, Christian Television Network, and ION Media Network (formerly known as PAX). He is the author of "Let Us Make Man" and "So Run." He has written other publications that help equip the believers to grow and mature in their relationship & walk with the Lord. Dr. Tapscott has six adult children and resides with his wife, Delores, in Warrenton, Virginia.
